Come to Deichman Linderud to catch the continuation of the pop-up portrait exhibition organized by DisasporA Tamil Archives (DTA). These are portraits to honour Tamil-Norwegian women. Welcome!
We are DiasporA Tamil Archives (DTA) and work to create awareness around the preservation, transmission and dissemination of Tamil cultural heritage. We are an online resource centre and Community Archives that works with documentation and preservation of Tamil-Norwegian migration history.
This year we have passed 2 years of work, and in that conjunction, we marked “Our day” by arranging a portrait exhibition with the concept “Tamil-Norwegian women in a male-dominated world”. In November, we want to mark “Archives Day 2022” by organizing the exhibition again. Through this exhibition, we want to highlight and show society the beautiful women we have – and we want you to be part of this.
