Methods

1. ARCHIVAL AWARENESS
Help us to spread knowledge about the importance of record-keeping/ documentation and archiving.
OR
Arrange archive workshop in your organisation to gain archival knowledge.

2. CREATE ORGANISATIONAL ARCHIVE
Train up and appoint a records manager
Create an internal organisational archive within your organisation to start archiving the records of your activities from today. Records of present activities are a future archive of a society and a nation.
AND
You can implement record-keeping and archiving in your organisation’s statute to keep your organisation’s internal record-keeping and archiving practices continue smoothly in the future, despite of administrative changes. Along with that you can create a guide with record-keeping and archiving plan, and rules of procedures.

3. ARCHIVE COLLECTION
The process of gathering the archival materials of an organisation is a job for the current committee. But giving the appropriate cooperation in the collection process is the responsibility of all former and contemporary members who hold the archival documents. Hence, those archival materials are properties of the organisation and the historical and cultural heritage of a society.
OR
There is also a history behind an individual´s archive collection of documents regarding an organisation. The history about why and how those documents became an collection of that individual is a part of the historical context of that collection. It would be more appropriate for the present administration to carry out a plan or agreement on how to preserve that collection after him/ her rather than to dismantle it. Preserving the archive collection in the collector’s name will be helpful to preserve the origin, context and purpose of the collection.
